Insert fittings, which are also known as barbed fittings, are used to connect brown 17 mm dripperline. These fittings are manufactured from an engineering grade plastic and because of the sharp barbs, will make a secure and watertight fit. These are available in various configurations including couplings, tees, elbows and male threaded adapters. Simply place the end of the dripperline over the barbed fitting and press inward, gently rocking the tubing on to the barb.
