- Ultra-sharp barbs to hold tubing securely
- Secure and easy installation without glue or clamps
- Large inside diameter for maximum flow
- Constructed of UV-resistant, engineering grade plastic
Insert fittings, which are also known as barbed fittings, are used to connect 17 and 18 mm tubing or dripperline. These fittings are manufactured from an engineering grade plastic and because of the sharp barbs, will make a secure and watertight fit. These are available in various configurations including couplings, tees, elbows and male threaded adapters, crosses, threaded tees and elbows. Simply place the end of the dripperline over the barbed fitting and push inward, gently rocking the tubing on to the barb.
Can be used with 17 or 18 mm drip tubing with inside diameters ranging from 0.540″ to 0.620″.
