The Compression Flow Controlling Valves have an internal compression ring that squeezes the outside diameter of the tubing as it is inserted into the fitting. The sharp edge of the ring bites into the outside of the tubing to prevent the tubing from blowing off. This creates a water tight seal. The valves are available to fit a range of tubing from ½” to ¾” and all are color coded to indicate the appropriate tubing outside diameter they fit.
The 17 mm Insert Flow Controlling Valve has sharp external barbs that will make a secure and watertight fit. This valve fits tubing with IDs ranging from 0.540″ to 0.580″.
These valves are used for manual flow control of individual dripperline laterals or supply tubing. They have a large inside diameter to allow maximum throughput. Large handle makes adjusting flow simple.
Can be used with 17 mm, 1/2″ or 3/4″ drip irrigation supply tubing.
